Caribbean All rounder Dwayne Bravo believes that windies will be threat in Very Open in ICC world cup 2019 and also mentioned that don’t take the West indies lightly in the Cricket world cup 2019.
With a great performance against England,West Indies are ready for the Mega events.
Bravo Said that he was very impressed with the young windies team and developing and its performance against england are best proof of that.
“We have some good young players who have been improving and developing well and it is good to see the way the team is doing against England which is the number one ODI side,” he said.
“I have talked to captain Jason Holder and others and I believe this team will be a threat to all teams in the World Cup which is going to be a very open tournament this time,” he said.
He also said that no team could be termed a favorites in the world cup. “Anyone can do well on a given day but I feel confident about West Indies as we see a good mix of experience and youth.”
Currently Bravo who plays from the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan super league competition at UAE and said that he was happy to share his knowledge with youngsters.
“Definitely, that’s why I stand at mid-off and mid-on most of the time to feed my knowledge to the young fast bowlers,” said Bravo.
“I ask them a few questions just to see how they are feeling. For me, it’s not about trying to change anything or try to coach them, but it’s about knowing how developed their brains are, how they react under pressure and then I intervene with my experience.
“It’s important to allow them to make mistakes, allow them to learn, and they be free and they are allowed to learn.”
Windies to face Pakistan on 31st May 2019 to starts the World cup 2019 Campaign.
